So, it appears that the Main Stream Blogosophere is all abuzz over Rush Limbaugh, the candidates, and of course terrorism.

Michelle Malkin
Little Green Footballs - this is the only one I found the least bit of interest; about the terrorist plot that was caught in time in Vienna. I bet you don’t hear that on NBC, CBS, CNN or even Fox for that matter. No, they’re all too busy worrying about Britney!
Hot Air

Man, I’ve been so out of it that I can’t even comment on anything going around the net these days. I just haven’t been paying attention. I reckon I have slipped back into complacency, feeling safe and secure again in the good ole U.S. of A. Shame on me, I know.

I do have some boiling of the blood occurring within so I really do need to find an outlet here. I’ll keep looking until I find something I can sink my teeth into, probably something like Paris Hilton Judge Has Sutherland Case. It just kills me how people can get all over someone’s case about drinking and driving or how they immorally live their lives but when it comes to the star of “24″, well then, he’s different, just because he plays a hero on television. Give me a fucking break. Does it make him any different? He still consumed alcohol and then made the asinine decision to get behind the wheel of a vehicle and fucking drive! Idiot. I don’t care if he is Jack Bauer, it doesn’t make him any more special, or different, to me. He still could have killed someone.

You can’t have it both ways people.

Help Wanted: Shock Jocks

The demise of disgraced radio host Don Imus would appear to create a prime opportunity for some other eager talent to rise up and claim his microphone. But in the troubled radio industry, finding popular new voices to fill the airwaves — and attract advertisers in multiple markets — has become a tough challenge.

CBS Corp.’s CBS Radio, where Mr. Imus was based before his firing last week, was already struggling to fill the void left by Howard Stern, the controversial host who left last year for a lucrative new gig at Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. Even with more than a year to prepare for Mr. Stern’s departure, CBS’s attempts to develop hit shows in his old time slot have fallen so flat that some of his replacements have already been replaced.

Well you know what? That will happen when you become so politically correct and so freaking ultra sensitive and let the mob push you around.

Imus will be fine, he’ll recover from this with just a hop, skip, and a jump and no real effort. He’ll be fine.

Will this teach CBS and other big corporations to start growing a back bone, or at least some thick skin? Probably not.

Well, happy Valentine’s Day.

In honor of this sweethearts’ day, I’d like to direct you over to the good Father Jonathan Morris - whew, what a cutie! Can I go to hell for having a crush on a priest?

He has a great little article out this morning regarding Love and Pornography.

No, really, it is a great read. It’s the best argument against pornography I have read to date.

Yeah, call me a prude - I don’t really care.

Here is an excerpt from the Father’s article,

For anyone with the least bit of cynicism, Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to let the punches fly. But this year, I’m going to hold back. If we are going to pass judgment on popular culture in relation to romance and commitment, we should also be willing to confront why, even as a predominantly Christian country, we have been so susceptible to obvious misconceptions of the meaning of love and sexuality.

People speaking out of turn in the name of the Christian God may be partly responsible for today’s warped understanding of love, and even the pervasiveness of pornography, as I will explain. In various times throughout the 2,000 years of Christianity, a handful of influential theologians and religious spokesmen have opposed the body and looked down on carnal passion as contrary to the freedom and sanctification of the soul.

…Finish the story…

On Friday he will post some of your comments and questions to the article.

Bloggers For Hire, Or Not

Um…I don’t think so,

From the Captain….

Unfortunately, we can expect this incident to make it harder for bloggers to make the transition into traditional political roles on campaigns. We already have a Wild West reputation for shooting off our mouths and thinking later, which I believe is mostly undeserved; the media will use this to reinforce that impression of the blogosphere. The truth is that the Edwards campaign didn’t work very hard to keep a couple of Catholic-haters out of their payroll, and while the media will also report that, that will get missed for the more sensational story of those bloggers and the liability they represent.

Well OK, his theory may have some credence to it but it is certainly not the fault of a blogger. No, you can always count on the MSM to get it wrong, or put their ill-informed opinion on anything - whew, talk about shooting off their mouths!

Here’s a novel idea, if YOU are going to hire a blogger then YOU should check out their blog. Yeah, simple-like solution - imagine that!

Yes, I shoot my mouth off. But I’m not trying to make it big in the blogosphere - or sell my soul - so does this mean I have to keep my mouth shut, play nicey nice, on any particular subject so I won’t make the rest of yuns look bad? I think not.

Oh wait, oops, that’s right, this little ole blog is exactly that - LITTLE, and thank goodness!

Gratitude lesson - I will never have to worry about what I write on my blog.

It’s a FUCKING BLOG for cripes-sake!

These pajama types just kill me, it’s almost humorous how their behemothic-sized egos work; and then there are the slightly less super-sized ego maniac bloggers who just ride their coat tails.

Oh just think, when I get my laptop I will truly be a badass in the world of blogging! NOT!

Rudy’s In, I’m Gonna Gag

OK, the headline is a little harsh. I’m not gagging that Rudy’s in, I’m gagging over his wife’s slober.

Listen, I don’t have anything against the man personally, I just don’t want him running as a Republican candidate for the United States Presidency. He’s NOT a Republican!

And what is the fucking deal with showing a sappy kiss on the front cover. Talk about *GAG*. And no, it’s not because I don’t think Giuliani is not a good looking man, he is. It’s the fact that his wifey pooh is on the cover WITH him. Who fucking cares about her?!

Yes, he was America’s hero during the days of 9/11. I absolutely admired the man for this conviction and courage. No one else could have taken it the way he did and then turned around and made America feel safe while the unthinkable had just taken place on U.S. soil. You go Rudy, I love you for that, yes.

However, why is he running as a Republican? I can handle his stance on gun control, even his views on gay rights but when it comes to pro-choice, well, I can’t vote for someone who is pro-choice. However, I do like his views on the war on terrorism. He wrote an article for USA Today back in 2005, that I just stumbled upon, where he talks about the London bombings, how we need to remain steadfast; vigil, and going out there to get the terrorists - stopping them before they get here.

Here’s an excerpt from the article, where I am glad to see Mr. Giuliani understands what it means and what it is going to take to keep America safe -

Finally, Thursday’s attacks demonstrate that we must remain committed to confronting and eliminating terrorism. There are those who assert that the efforts to eliminate terror are somehow provoking the terrorists. That is wrong. The terrorists have been attacking innocent people long before Sept. 11, 2001, or the wars in Afghanistan or Iraq.

This is a good article on America’s mayor running for the presidency.

I don’t really give a rat’s ass about his personal life. We all have something. It’s his liberal views that disturb me. Yes, as a Catholic and as a Republican. He’s no Catholic or Republican in my opinion. But what do I know? I’m just expressing my views and opinions here.

Maybe if Mr. Giuliani could come to Alabama and explain some things to me, convince me why he should be President. Pffft, yeah right. I doubt he’ll even think about the south.

The MSM sure has treated Mr. Giuliani nicely. I wonder how long it will take the press to bludgeon the poor chap.

Asked on the show if he’s “in to win,” Giuliani said, “Gosh, yeah. I mean, that’s the only reason to do it.”

Judi, 52, insisted that when her hubby takes the plunge, she won’t mind playing second fiddle to his political ambitions - and she revealed the famously tough-as-nails former mayor’s sensitive side.

“I’ve always liked strong, macho men, and Rudy - I’m not saying this because he’s my husband - is one of the smartest people on the planet,” gushed the former Judith Nathan to Harper’s Bazaar in editions due out Feb. 20.

“What people don’t know is that Rudy’s a very, very romantic guy. We love watching ‘Sleepless in Seattle.’ Can you imagine my big testosterone-factor husband doing that?”

*GAG*GAG*GAG*GAG*

OK, now that I have improperly gone all over the place with this topic, let me end with this - and I can’t believe I am even THINKING this way but if it came down to McCain vs. Giuliani, well, I’d have to take the G-man; with reservations of course but only because of the pro-choice issue.

Anyway, that’s what I have to say about it today, except I may have to ADD THIS SITE to my favorites.

Drudge

I tracked this article back to Basil’s Blog, Jo’s Cafe, 123Beta, HOT AIR, and it’s automatically linked to It’s A Pundit.

Dick Morris

Says a mouthful,

He laid out the political future: “Hillary will be the next president, and she’ll be the worst president we’ve ever seen.” No matter what happens, the situation in Iraq will “assure that the GOP gets massacred in 2008 congressional elections.” In 2010, the Republicans will take back the Congress — “Hillary will give Republicans the same gift she gave them in 1994” — and they’ll win the presidency in 2012, but thanks to demographic shifts favoring Republicans (namely the rising Hispanic and African-American populations), “that will be the last Republican president we’ll ever see.”

I said these very same words to someone last night. Well, maybe not these exact words but I did turn and look at my friend and say, “I do believe Hillary will be our next President.”, with a frown of course!
